NOTE: No meeting this month (or next month) at our regular meeting place, Kaiser Permanente.

Three things will be happening during this special meeting of the Pasadena Radio Club (PRC):

1) For those who RSVP’d prior to November 19th, there will be dinner (around 7:00 p.m.) prepared by the American Legion staff ($15/person, cash). Unfortunately, since the Legion’s staff will only be preparing enough food for those who RSVP’d, we will be unable to accommodate additional guests for dinner — nevertheless, please come for the other activities. There is a full no-host bar for everyone attending, including those who did not RSVP.
2) The Show-and-Tell, described below, will take place throughout the evening.
3) Elections for the PRC’s 2020 Board of Directors will also happen at this meeting, as required by the club’s bylaws. Remember, only paid members of the club will be able to vote.

The Show-and-Tell will be presented by club president Mark Seigel. But we have a role for you, too:

Chances are, you’ve got an out-of-the-ordinary radio-related item that others would be interested in. This is your chance to show it off, spark some interest in others, and get conversations going.

Here are some ideas to get you thinking: unusual radios, vintage gear, go-boxes, digital gear, easy-to-deploy em-com antennas, radio-compatible clothing and personal gear (vests, backpacks, first-aid kits), home-brew or kit projects, antenna analyzers, crimp tools (coax or Anderson).

Larger items such as go-boxes can be displayed around the perimeter of the room, smaller items can be displayed on the tables in the middle. We’ll go around the room and have each participant “tell” about their portion of the displayed gear.

So, take a look around your shack, find something interesting, and bring it along. Come along and hear about this interesting equipment even if you have none of your own to show. We welcome all members and guests to this meeting.

We hope to see you there!
