September 26, 2017: Bruce Nolte N1BN: World Premiere! Field Day 2017 - the Film

We bring you the world premiere of the film W6KA Field Day 2017. Direction, cinematography and editing by our own club member Bruce Nolte, N1BN. Bruce has been making Field Day documentaries for the club since 1993. (The library on this web site contains links to all of Bruce’s field day videos to date.) The technolody has gone from analog VHS to digital HD. And the digital editing in Apple's Final Cut Pro offers great flexibility and quality.

Bruce is a graduate of the Film/Video School at CalArts and has worked in the documentary film industry for a number of years. He has experience is many areas of film production and post production but really enjoys documentary style cinematography and editing. Field Day documentaries offer a unique way to express a film style.

Bruce was first licensed in 1988 and had the call sign N6TFS for several years until he upgraded to Amateur Extra and was granted the N1BN call sign. He has been a club member since 1989 and is a past president and past vice-president of the Pasadena Radio Club.
