August 26, 2014: Bruce Nolte N1BN: Field Day 2014 — the movie

Our presenter in August is Bruce Nolte N1BN, with the latest installment in his field day series — Field Day 2014. It should prove to be a fun movie.

Bruce holds an Amateur Extra class license and has been licensed since 1988, and a member of the Pasadena Radio Club since 1989. He has been a club board member for many years, and is both a past President and past Vice-President. He is very active in public service communications. Along with Allen Hubbard, N6VTX, he has proudly organized the radio checkpoint crew at Eagle's Roost, high in the San Gabriel Mountains, in support of the Angeles Crest 100-mile Endurance Run (AC100) since 1989.

Professionally Bruce is a documentary filmmaker with experience in cinematography, sound, and editing. He is a graduate of the Film/Video School of CalArts.
