Wire antennas can be made from a variety of materials. They can weigh very little, especially when not using coaxial cable feedlines. This talk discusses a few of these wire antennas and describes how to build them with non-traditional materials and feedlines.

David Hodge has been licensed since 1969 when he passed the Novice test as a 9th grader. The hobby has kept him fascinated ever since. Employment and travel opportunities are a two of the ways his life has been enhanced through amateur radio.
