July 23, 2013: Bruce Nolte, N1BN: Field Day 2013 — the film

Our July presenter is Bruce Nolte N1BN, with the latest installment in his field day series — Field Day 2013. It should prove to be a fun film. The evening will also include a couple of surprise additions!

Bruce holds an Amateur Extra class license and has been licensed since 1988, and a member of the Pasadena Radio Club since 1989. He has been a club board member for many years, and is both a past President and past Vice-President. He is very active in public service communications. Along with Allen Hubbard, N6VTX, he has proudly organized the radio checkpoint crew at Eagle's Roost, high in the San Gabriel Mountains, in support of the Angeles Crest 100-mile Endurance Run (AC100) since 1989.

Professionally Bruce is a documentary filmmaker with experience in cinematography, sound, and editing. He is a graduate of the Film/Video School of CalArts.
